KRISTEN FIORE
OWNER + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

From a young age, Kristen was passionate about design. Growing up outside New York City she had a wealth of inspiration and resources at her fingertips. After gaining experience in New York and learning from some of the best in the business she moved to California to pursue her dream and studied Interior Design & Interior Architecture at UC Berkeley and received her degree in Interior Design with honors from American River College. In 2015 she founded Kristen Elizabeth Design.
To Kristen, design is not just about creating beautiful spaces — it’s about manifesting joy and tranquility while fostering well-being. Inspiration comes from a spectrum of meaningful moments to the smallest details. For instance, her travels throughout Europe, a 14th-century building with beautiful mosaic tile…or the seasons in Sacramento, the soft and bright hues of spring dahlias…and even her favorite artists that blend vibrant color with painterly brush strokes to create striking impressionist landscapes.
Kristen finds fulfillment in creating personal and stunning spaces that her clients love. Her award-winning work has been featured in prestigious design publications including Architectural Digest, Design Et Al, Home & Decor, Casa Vogue, Sac Design, Elle Decor, and Sacramento Magazine.
Nastassja Bowman
INTERIOR DESIGNER & MARKETING COORDINATOR
Nastassja joined the KED team in 2021 as a Marketing Coordinator and now is also an Interior Designer. Her mother, an artist with a love of fashion, instilled in her an appreciation for color, texture, and style – and how they come together to create beauty.
After a Division 1 Volleyball career in college Nastassja graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. After honing her marketing skills in the corporate sector she followed her passion and went back to school to receive her Associate's Degree in Interior Design, as well as Certificates in Interior Retail Merchandising and Para-Professional Interior Design, landing a position at Kristen Elizabeth Design. Wearing many hats, Nastassja is a natural project manager with a great eye for color and detail. She loves the concept of making a house a home – a reflection of oneself, and a true expression of your personality and passions. In her free time, Nastassja enjoys Asian cuisine, getting to know people, finding inspiration for design in unique places, and napping.
Jenifer McCool
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Jenifer brings a unique blend of aesthetic sensibility, attention to detail, and a keen eye for spatial harmony to every project she is a part of. She seamlessly merges her love for design, cooking, and painting into inspiration.
